Abstract
It is a very rare condition that limits the extension of the metacarpophalangeal joint due to locking of the index finger. Especially locking due to a larger sesamoid and roughness of metacarpal ridge is very rare and requires surgical treatment. We report a case of 34 yearold woman who sustained inability to extend metacarpophalangeal joint fully that happened without trauma and hyperflexion injury. The authors surgically removed entrapped sesamoid bone.
