Abstract |
The isolated dislocation of the proximal or distal interphalangealjoint of a finger is common, but the delayed unreduced double dislocation of both joints is rare. There is no domestic report on open reduction of this doubledislocation yet. We report a case of traumatic dislocation of both interphalangeal joints in the left ring finger of a 66-year-old male patient, and we treated him with open reduction followed by splinting in the intrinsic plus position and have obtained favourable result after postoperative 3 years. |
