Abstract
The locking of the metacarpophalangeal joint of thumb by hyperextension injury is a very rare case. in case of locking of the thumb accompanied with volar plate injury, volar plate and sesamoid prevent manual reduction and it require open reduction. We report a case that have happened recurrent locking of the thumb by hyperextension injury was diagnosed and operated.
