Abstract
Although some studies were reported on synovial osteochondroma according to the literature study, there has not been a study on synovial osteochondroma developed in the carpometacarpal joint. We encountered a 30-year-old female patient who was experiencing pain in the left 1st carpometacarpal joint. We removed a mass and performed debridement synovectomy in the trapezium. The mass was diagnosed as synovial osteochondroma according to postoperative biopsy; thus, we report the present case with the literature study.
