Abstract
Dislocation or subluxation of the distal radioulnar joint with the fracture of radius or ulna is relatively common, and when the ligaments tear is complete, the distal radioulnar joint may be dislocated without fracture of the radius or ulna. Dorsal dislocation is common and volar dislocation is fairly uncommon. We experienced a patient who had long arm splint with ulna styloid fracture at local hospital, and at the follow up plain radiograph 1 month later, volar dislocation of the distal ulna head was detected. We report a case of isolated volar dislocation of distal ulna head and include a review of the literature.
