Abstract
Synovial chondromatosis is an uncommon non-neoplastic condition of the joints, forming multiple cartilaginous nodules in the synovium. The lesion usually tends to involve large joints, and the occurrence in the hands is very rare. We would like to present a case of synovial chondromatosis in the 5th metacarpophalangeal joint of the hand.
