Abstract
A soft tissue osteochondroma is an infrequently encountered benign cartilaginous tumor. The diagnosis should be considered when a discrete, ossified mass which is localized in the soft tissues. We present a patient with a painless soft tissue osteochondroma that developed in the hypothenar area of the hand. A review of the literature regarding this uncommon lesion is also presented.
