Abstract
As the synovium is richly vascularised, the hemangioma may arise in the synovium. Indeed, the hemangioma in tendons and tendon sheaths are possibly the rarest form of all. To our knowledge only five cases have been described arising in relation to the tenosynovium of the tendons of the hand, only one of which shows infiltration of the extensor tendon. In this article, author report a patient with a synovial hemangioma arising from the 4th profundus flexor tendon of the hand, which are unusual case of a cavernous hemangioma of the flexor tendon that is considerably destructed by the tumor.
