Abstract
We report a rare case of trigger finger caused by an old closed partial rupture of the flexor digitorum superficialis. One thirds of 5th finger flexor digitorum superficialis was ruptured after rotation and hyperextension injury of 5th finger and changed to fibrous flap. This flap caused triggering under A1 pulley. The patient was managed by incising the A1 pulley and trimming ruptured partial tendon flap.
